Overview
Desktop S.A. is one of the leading companies in Brazil’s telecommunications market, standing out as the largest internet service provider (ISP) platform in the State of São Paulo, according to data from Anatel (Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency). Specializing in broadband internet services through fiber optic technology, the Company delivers a superior connectivity experience, promoting access to high-quality internet in both urban and rural areas.
Currently, Desktop S.A. covers 194 municipalities across the interior of São Paulo, a region with ideal conditions for sustainable and profitable growth. This area is characterized by high population density, strong per capita GDP, low fiber penetration compared to other regions, and a significant presence of companies and industries of all sizes—factors that also expand the Company’s opportunities in the B2B segment.
Founded in 1997, Desktop has witnessed all stages of the internet’s evolution in Brazil, building deep expertise in service delivery, field operations, and the construction of high-quality infrastructure. It is worth noting that, until mid-2020, the Company achieved substantial growth and established regional leadership entirely through its own cash generation.
In 2020, Desktop received an investment from H.I.G. Capital, marking the beginning of a phase of accelerated expansion. This new cycle has been driven by enhanced corporate governance and the execution of inorganic growth strategies, including the strategic acquisition of other providers—further strengthening its market presence.
OUR PURPOSE IS "Connecting to Expand Possibilities" This is the reason behind our existence as Desktop.
OUR VISION IS “To be a leader wherever we operate, delivering the best connectivity experience to our customers, transforming the future of people, businesses, and communities.” It guides us in the pursuit of our goals and drives us toward continuous evolution.
